Emory or Tufts

Tufts is not known for business. I would pick Emory with this new info.

Surprisingly Tufts doesn't make the peakframeworks list for Investment bankers but there are some Investment bankers in there career Destinations list. But it does seem like Emory is a safer choice, at least career wise.

Boston College business program would be the right fit.

Emory people really try hard to convince others that it's more prestigious compared to NE schools like NYU, Tufts, BC, BU, NEU, but that's negligible and not a major factor at all.

My DS was in a similar situation and deciding on an ED school.
Emory and NYU were the top two final choices.
He went with NYU and didn't consider Emory to have better prestige.

This. Emory’s campus is prettier, but Boston beats Atlanta as a college town.

Northeastern, BU??!lol. Your son is one person, not the majority. And yes none of those schools have ever been ranked higher than Emory. The gap between Emory and these schools are growing. People from the Northeast keep trying to elevate their declining privates. Like Northeastern? Give me a break.

That's opinion. Factually Emory is better and had better business placement. And that should be OPs biggest concern, especially in this economy.

To be fair, the argument for both schools is usually that Emory is more prestigious or that Emory and Tufts are equally prestigious. No one ever says Tufts is more prestigious than Emory.

Northeastern is not prestigious. You are trying too hard. It is known for the school that rigs USNews ranking by sending kids off abroad so the stats look better.

^^ stop deluding yourself- Neu gets dinged by its graduation rate in US News bc kids aren’t doing it in 4 years bc of the coops. Tell the whole story.

- when we attended a tour there, the student who spoke at the front of the auditorium said that he actually had two coop internships And we’re still graduating on time. I knew that wasn’t the typical kid so when it was over, I went up and talked to him and he said that none of his friends are actually graduating on time, but he was able to get to cohorts because he came in with A ton of credits, and he also went to school year-round, taking credits.

It costs more to go to neu overseas and kids who checked off they would NOT go overseas got admitted that way anyway. I won’t engage anymore because you’re a troll and crazy. No one thinks of this school as great. It is more good enough.
