Is there a reason that the Metro does not have high, metal, floor to ceiling gates gates, and multiple high, metal, floor to ceiling turn styles, like parts of Europe? Is it a fire code violation, because if so, that is too bad.

My kid saw it happen. Teens jumping another teen. A friend tried to stop them from beating up the kid and when they wouldn’t, he pulled out a gun.

My Latin kid (graduated) used to take the metro every day. Horrifying. They are going to need to put an all hands on deck safe passage police presence at that stop for all the kids commuting to school.

Build prisons. Warehouse those for decades who commit any crime with a gun. You kill 2 birds w/ 1 stone: control guns and lockup criminals using said guns.
