I certainly can’t lose 5 lbs in a week (53 year old and 5”2”) as my tdee is already c 1400 calories and I already exercise regularly and am careful with diet…::BUT I can definitely get a flatter belly and feel a bit more toned by cutting alcohol, bread/pasta/crackers, upping water, my core exercises and arm weights.

I think if you up your exercise game and cut unnecessary stuff (sugar alcohol refined carbs) you’ll feel better and your clothes will fit well. Scale doesn’t really matter.

You can lose 5 pounds in 5 weeks. Get rid of sugar, alcohol, and control your portions. Walk 5 miles every day and work out 3x a week.
