| She constantly donates large sums of money to various worthy causes. She has a good heart. |
| Olivia Rodrigo had like 12 versions of GUTS. |
| People still buy albums? |
| It’s more for the sales charts than for the money. Tho her dad was a banker and is now one of her mangers, so it’s not not the money. |
| This is for collectors. Most people just stream. |
| Yawn. Who's buying physical albums in 2024? People live such cluttered, consumerist lives in America. |
Neither was the PP who said we get to vote with our pocketbook. I love the work of lots of musicians I don’t like or respect as people. Taylor swift IS greedy. You can still enjoy her music, but her fans keep blending the performer and the person. She isn’t your personal Jesus, you just like her music. |
I don't hate on her, but this is not really something to admire or commend her for. The amount she donates might feel large to you, but she doesn't even feel it. It is like me dropping a dollar bill in the Salvation Army collection during the holidays. In relative terms, she does not donate "large sums of money." |
| She is brilliant. First one to think of this! Excellent business woman. |
| With all the streaming apps who buys albums anymore? |
You are out of the loop. Vinyls are huge right now and people are re-selling their old CD players for big bucks. |
| The people buying the albums are Swift obsessives who also buy other cash-grab merchandise, or buy tickets to her show in multiple cities. I think it's crazy to spend money like that but it's not my money so who cares? |
| LOL This is the Kpop model of driving up physical album sales. 4 versions is nothing! She needs to start putting in photocards and stickers and stuff too. |
This. I think the problem with concert tickets these days (not just hers) is way worse that weird extra album additions. It’s sad how out of reach concerts have become. My first concert was to Garth Brooks, he was a BIG deal at the time, and I still remember it cost $30. |
| Just stop with your sexist double standards OP. No one is forcing you to buy it. |
