Which college does best marketing?

Imo Harvard's marketing WAY outdoes Princeton's. Princeton is the #1 ranked college in all three major rankings(Forbes, USNWR, and WSJ) yet isn't seen as #1 by the population at large. On the other hand, Harvard has scandal after scandal but is generally perceived as the top school.

The “population at large” is a lagging indicator of success.

What movies/TV shows mention northeastern🙄🙄🙄

Princeton: a beautiful mind, admission, boardwalk empire

Harvard/Harvard Law: the social network, a few good men, the firm, legally blonde, with honors, the paper chase, suits, scent of a woman, da Vinci code,

MIT: good will hunting, 21,

Independence Day, the recruit, six degrees of separation, iron man

Yale/Yale law: lost in translation, the skulls, Billions, my cousin Vinny,

Georgetown and northwestern seem to pop up on DC and Chicago set films.

Some get mentioned in unflattering ways. Andy Bernard of The Office and Cornell comes to mind

St. Elmo's Fire!

I could never believe Billy got into Georgetown! What a doofus. 😁

I loved the marketing from Colgate. The brochures were just stunning and beautifully tailored to their audience. DS did not apply so even the best marketing could not overcome his aversion to cold and remote campuses.

Tulane. Not Georgetown. Pelicans are pretty sparse in the DMV

Even during the dark ages when I was in college, it was well known by the cognoscenti that undergrads at Harvard were completely ignored by professors, who spent all their time with grad students because they could get the grad students to do their research for them. And yet, they're still around and kicking.
