Don’t kill me for linking to Chicos, but these will work with most body types: https://www.chicos.com/store/product/trouser+jeans/570330387
OP your issue is probably that you are short. Make sure you buy petite pants instead of hemming longer pants, which will make the opening bigger. |
| try Mother jeans, the Dazzler cut. A great skinny/straight leg |
+1. |
Talk is key here, short and curvy does not look good |
|
| I have the same issue and a friend told me to try Kut from the Kloth Meg Carpenter jeans and they look adorable on me. Flatter my waist and butt and are wide leg without being huge. |
Horrible. |
These will not look good on someone short. |
| I don't even think the wider leg jeans look good on the younger generations. I see college kids wearing these and they just look messy. |
Yeah I actually don't think those clothes are very good! Sorry PPP!!! |
I'm afraid she'll trip over her hems and break her hips. Nice arms, though. |
| Tight pants/jeans have always been around! Look at people in the 70s and 80s. I think skinny jeans are perfectly fine, still, it’s what you wear with them. I saw a reel on IG this morning with a long time fashion blogger talking about her outfits from 10-12 years ago and showing a lot of skinny jeans + longer fitted top/tank + tight cropped denim jacket, and a big statement necklace or scarf and those flexible, round toe flats that we always wore. THAT is dated. Or the floppy, waterfall cardigan - also dated. But skinny jeans with plain white sneakers or mules, and a pullover sweater? That’s perfectly fine. |

I'm no fashionista. But I've been loving being back in my wide leg jeans and converse like it's 1996.

| Meh. I’m 46, 5’2”, and loving the new barrel jeans look. I will never encase myself in the leg prison that is skinnies ever again. |
I like these looks a lot. |
