Maybe the benchwarmers on the existing FVU teams *might* do RL - but thinking they'll either find another club or GA before dropping down to RL...just a thought. |
| NP here - do clubs have to get approved each head for ECNL and ECNL-RL? We are with Potomac boys so this is all new to us. TY! |
Not that I know of, but be aware, they frown upon poor performance. So if they're continually not showing wins they'll end up like the fiasco that's shaking out with FXU in a few years. |

Herron girls out
BRYC boys out LMVSC in DC Soccer club in |
| Is LMVSC in RL official news? I heard that rumor but never saw anything more. |
Yes announced on social media platforms of club and league. |
| Any idea what league Herndon girls will play in if they're out of RL? EDP maybe? |
Herndon out of RL? What happened to their VDA pathway. |
The pathway is still exists. The boys still play RL (and second teams in NCSL) while girls are played NCSL in the Fall and this Spring. |
Was there a post about BRYC boys being out of ECNL RL? I must have missed it. |
Oh, nevermind. That is old. |
| Is Villareal staying? But boys only right? |
| RL is looked down upon by former national League players. They look at it as a B league, that's just how things are. They get moved down to RL by their teams if they are underperforming or not doing well, so they prefer to jump to GA or find some other options and RL is the last resort |
| How many former RL players really want to play in ncsl? It's the same thing. |
| The reality is that there are only so many ECNL and GA teams in the area. Far more players in the area than those teams can accommodate. So if you’re not on one of those teams, and let’s be honest, there are more factors there than just how good of a player someone is, what do you do? On the girls side, you really just have ECNL-RL, EDP and NCSL if you want to play club. |
