Who’s In and Out of RL?

So DC and LMVSC are in. Has anyone else been announced to be in? Has anyone been removed? How does it shake out for McLean, VYS, and Braddock? Are they in or is all under the new club? Haven’t really looked into that.

Is VYS, McLean, and Braddock still RL or is it just one team now? Maybe two in RL?

All three clubs remain independent entities at the RL level and below for travel as well as their rec programs. FVU is purely the merger their respective ECNL teams.

That makes sense. If Rush is out wonder if they try to go GA and link VA north to south

What are thoughts on if RL will become more competitive given all the shake ups this year? And the GA teams are mostly to the west and south and probably too far for those closer in.

I think GA will pick up some of the top RL teams like they did with KCSG.

Some of those RL teams that can compete with the best of the best ECNL teams are not being promoted anytime soon.

Not anytime soon unless VPSL aligns itself more like ECNL-NL with league play rules. Unlimited subs ruins the game for higher level play.

I guess VRSC, and FCV are a bit of a drive considering they're essentially in Leesburg. And SYC is in Springfield. I cant imagine anybody driving to Charlottesville for Skyline's program either.

LMVSC will be in RL starting in the fall. I am sure it will be nice to have a RL team in that part of the county and they will pull from Alexandria, Gunston and possibly SYC

Been thinking about this, as DD plays RL for one of the FVU clubs. My guess is that the former NL kids who don't make Union end up at a GA club (presumably they have been playing NL for recruiting purposes and GA is arguably a better recruiting platform than RL). With 2 new GA clubs in NoVA, there is a lot of new capacity there.
