This is the United States Supreme Court, not McDonalds. There should be a higher standard. |
Did you miss my last paragraph? |
Sure! I agree! But to learn one must acknowledge one’s mistake and reflect. To use empathy and to examine one’s feelings. Not say they don’t remember sending it. |
All they did is pay ethics some empty lip service and call it a day. SCOTUS is a complete disgrace. I have zero faith, trust or confidence in them. And in fact I am starting to think that other entities should start holding SCOTUS in contempt and completely disregard their rulings until they get their house in order. |

I love it when people are fortuitously aptly named.
Why did she live with them? I bet the reason is scandalous, like everything else about the Thomases. |
It's interesting that she was already infamous for sending racist texts and Clarence Thomas hired her anyway. He's definitely got a mixed bag of law clerks. |
| The sad part is that only 36 law students per year get to be clerks and many talented students get rejected. It's not like Clarence Thomas couldn't have found someone who didn't live in his house and who didn't have a damaging online presence. He just did not give a f. |
Because the left doesn't care about facts. The source is a group of fired employees, with one of them sending fake texts. https://www.abajournal.com/news/article/federal-judges-who-hired-law-clerk-accused-of-racist-statements-wont-face-misconduct-complaints |
You may want to actually read the article you posted, which talks about how the federal judges who hired the Thomas clerk wouldn't face charges. It says that a person in a leadership role at conservative org Turning Point USA (vouched for her character, and said other employees were behind the racist texts. But the fact is that Turning Point USA terminated her employment after the texts came out. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2024/02/24/crystal-clanton-clarence-thomas-supreme-court-clerk-texts/ |
