Very few people who are vaccinated will die from covid now. The very few who might are medically fragile and the onus is on them to protect themselves rather than the other way around.

I just read a headline today that the suggested requirement to quarantine for five days after a positive test is going to be lifted.

CDC has not recommended guidance to take weeks off of work for isolation for a long time now. Since you are not aware of that as well.

You either have a tiny and carefully curated social circle or people are just telling you what you want to hear. The vast majority of the population has moved on and is no longer testing, quarantining etc.
