IME the cute broke women tend to have more options than unattractive career women and are therefore less bitter. Most well off men are fine with a teacher or whatever (my DH was) if they want kids because they anticipate their partner being a SAHM.

Doesn't sound like this is the case with you though OP so I'd decide if I wanted to figure out how to make more $ or if it's worth it to have a partner I'm not totally attracted to but will afford the lifestyle I want without additional career stress.

I can afford a SAHM but not with a 2M house in McLean and a Porsche. More like an 800k-1M house in Ashburn and a Toyota. I’m currently in a TH I bought when I was 23 in Fairfax co a decade ago.

The question is if you're cool with that life? Or are you concerned that your potential dating prospects will be uninterested in it? I think plenty of decent looking not successful women would be fine with it but yeah if you're looking for anyone hot or successful it's going to be a stretch.
