| Ageee on Young Sheldon, my 6th grader loves it. |
| Adventure Time |
| Merlin is great—a little fantasy, many humorous moments, a wee bit of tame romance. |
| Another Young Sheldon fan. We also all love Shark Tank. |
|
This might sound weird, but my 12yo DS loves Bluey. He appreciates it on an adult level and thinks it’s hilarious, but also loves the symbolism of episodes like “Flat Pack”. It’s the only kids show I’ve ever watched on my own.
Owl House and Is It Cake? are other favorites. |
| If you liked Survivor then maybe Total Drama Island would be fun? |
| The new Percy Jackson series on Disney is good |
|
Wolfblood
Mythbusters Blackish Doctor Who The Amazing Race The Wonder Years (we watched the original but remake is also supposed to be good) |
| Monk!! Amazing mystery series. My 6th grade DS was completely obsessed and blew through all the seasons on streaming. |
|
Lost in Space Netflix!
Locke and Key too. We actually loved Stranger Things but I realize not every kid can handle it at a young age. DD at 11 loves that show and also Wednesday. |
| I second Lost in Space - my 6th grader and I both loved it. We are currently re-watching The Good Place which we also both absolutely loved. |
The original Monk? That would be a good idea for our family but it's an old show, right? It still works? |
| Abbott is very good |
| Babysitters Club is a great show for that age, yes, even for boys. |
I’m glad I’m not the only parent of 6th graders that love Gordon Ramsay Yelling “It’s raw” in a fake British accent while they are making food never gets old to them.
