FWIW, I weigh 225 pounds and look great in that dress. I have it in two different prints. So it might just be a body type thing. Lol, that's the only time in history my body type might work better for a dress, sigh.

Maybe this style is simply not for you then. |
Ooooh. I like this a lot. (Not OP) |

| If you like the original Anthro dress, just get the larger size tailored to fit the way you'd like. |
Not OP here but do others think this dress could be paired with nice heels for a somewhat fancy spring New England outdoor wedding? |
| And if so, what shoes? |
No. That's a casual dress. A very pretty casual dress, but a casual one. If the wedding were spring, outdoors, and daytime and not "somewhat fancy," then maybe. But for fancy, nope. |
| Thanks for the honest feedback! |
Spring outdoor wedding? Sure! Nice shoes, nice jewelry, nice clutch or purse. Bring a wrap or something to wear if it gets chilly. |
| Look at ulla Johnson and Sea. Check Saks off fifth |

I own a ton of MISA also. It’s very wearable, and easy to pack. I love this dress https://www.misalosangeles.com/collections/sale-dresses/products/suki-dress-bluemarigold?variant=42718407884993 |
