NP - I wonder if I got through those because I had caught a later episode or two at some point before I did my whole series binge? At this point, I don't see the "awful" parts.

My husband and I both really disliked Schitts Creek the first time we tried it. Tried again a few years later and pushed through almost half a season and it became one of our very favorite shows.

Perfect if you are looking for something light and sweet. The issue is that the whole point is the characters grow so they have to start out kind of whiny and awful and you have to push through that
