I think all social media rewires your brain in ways that benefit the app and not you (including DCUM, though not an app), but TikTok may rewire it fastest and in the worst way. Instagram stories (which was designed to compete with TikTok) comes in second. So addictive and soothing but they actually make you dumber. It conditions your brain to expect a new stimulation every 10 seconds.

It's like crack, and I mean that in the bad way, not as a compliment.
