Yes, tiktok is youth-oriented. Yes, it tracks everything you do on and off the app. Yes, it sends all of your data to the Chinese government.

Tiktok is the worst social media app in years. Uninstall it yesterday if you care at all about your privacy, or even your financial security in the event of a war with China.

I like watching cooking stuff but most people I like have both tik tok and instagram and websites with the recipe.

I watch a lot of liberal content creators, history, cooking, booktok, music, etc. I rarely see anything geared for the young.
