| DS is 12. We have taken "standalone trips" to Denmark and Canada. We have also been on a bunch of cruises so he has been to a ton of countries in the Caribbean for a few hours each (also Norway and Germany on a cruise out of Copenhagen) but not sure those count for the purposes of this thread. |

There's this book, "Airplane Mode" y'all should read. It's about the elitism of travel for pleasure.
Often when we travel I note we are the only people of color. My kids have traveled a little bit (I guess 8-10 countries?) but it's only because our large families are scattered and they are too poor to ever visit us. And sitting in a resort doesn't mean you know anything about the place. |
