So democrats are going to do Trump things even though they claim they are better than Trump? Sending out the guy who ripped a fart live to tell everyone stinky things about Trump seems like the whole “every accusation is an admission” argument is valid.

Trump's image/brand is everything to him. MAGA treats him like a messiah. But the reality is that he's a stinky old man. He'll start lashing out soon on this topic, of course.

I’ve never noticed a woman to smell like makeup, even women who wear heavy makeup, foundation, eye makeup, lipstick, etc. Every politician who appears on tv wears heavy makeup to appear younger and more attractive to the audience. This is a bizarre comment.

Depends what he was using. I remember in the olden days of heavily perfumed makeup you could definitely smell cosmetics, like the old “medicated” Cover Girl foundation, especially if someone used too much and didn’t wash it off.

Regardless, that Trump stinks does seem very on brand. He has dementia and no one cares about or for him.

“Medicated foundation?” That existed/exists? Cover Girl? You know adult women who buy and wear Cover Girl from CVS?

I normally wouldn’t approve of this sort of mocking. But it’s Trump, whose fan base treats him as a god without faults and who himself brags that he is the best in everything and also puts out statements wishing others to rot in hell.

So if this is revealing the emperor has no clothes then meh, not going to lose sleep over it. He gets what he gives. It’s not punching down to say an elite privileged millionaire ex-president who bullies others has a stench about him.

You think Trump will be patenting this particular rancid combination for a new Trump Cologne? That seems on brand.

“Sending out” — you are accusing democrats of giving Kinzinger marching orders? What?

Was waiting for someone to start this topic. My family has been talking about it for a week now.

Yes he will. He is notoriously thin skinned, vindictive, and immature so you can bet that he will respond in his usual juvenile and crass manner. He has zero gravitas about him.

So a myriad of msm stories about Trump being a germaphobe who uses purell constantly:

The Purell presidency: Trump aides learn the president’s real red line
https://www.politico.com/story/2019/07/07/donald-trump-germaphobe-1399258

Two and a half years into his term, President Donald Trump is solidifying his standing as the most germ-conscious man to ever lead the free world. His aversion shows up in meetings at the White House, on the campaign trail and at 30,000 feet. And everyone close to Trump knows the president’s true red line.

“If you’re the perpetrator of a cough or of a sneeze or any kind of thing that makes you look sick, you get that look,” said a former Trump campaign official. “You get the scowl. You get the response of — he’ll put a hand up in a gesture of, you should be backing away from him, you should be more considerate and you should extricate yourself from the situation.”

The president’s admitted germaphobia has been a fixture throughout his career — from real-estate deal rooms to casino floors — and it’s now popping up in more public ways.

Led by notorious germaphobe, West Wing braces for coronavirus

He is a self-described germaphobe who is known to glare at aides who sneeze in his vicinity or try to shake hands with him after coughing. Before becoming president, he once wrote the practice of shaking hands was "barbaric," though it's one political tradition even he's been unable to banish.

Germ-averse Trump had more than his own health at stake as he focused on coronavirus response from afar

But now he’s a dirty person who wears medicated Cover Girl makeup, doesn’t wash it off, and smells like ketchup? The guy who made people entering the Oval Office wash their hands in the Oval Office bathroom?

Has anyone posting here ever smelled ketchup on another adult? You would see ketchup smeared on someone’s hands, face, or clothing if they smelled so strongly of ketchup you were taken aback by it. This is truly the dumbest timeline.

This is pure desperation and unemployed Adam was sent out to flog a ridiculous story because he himself is desperate.

Really? When and where did your family smell Trump or any other politician?

That’s a pretty long-winded, desperate defense. I’d think it’s pretty good odds that somebody physically rotting on the inside (age, obesity, diet) smells awful. I appreciate that Trump/MAGA think you can clean your insides with bleach and ultraviolet light…but you know that doesn’t work, right?

Except a search of google news articles shows that Trump news about BO and bad smells only started about a week ago. Before that, the narrative was that he was a germaphobe that constantly washed his hands, used purell hand sanitizer religiously, and demanded everyone around him use it as well.

If you hate bad body odour, you're more likely to support Trump

Olofsson and his colleagues wondered if a person’s response to smell might reveal their politics. They asked 201 volunteers from around the world to complete an online survey, answering questions about how disgusting they found various hypothetical situations. Some of these involved smell, such as exposure to someone else’s body odour or using a toilet that smelled strongly of urine, while others didn’t, such as being close to someone with red sores covering their arms.

Olofsson’s team found that people who scored higher for disgust also tended to score more highly for right wing authoritarianism. Compared to visual or other cues, it was a high disgust-response to the thought of body odours that most strongly predicted if a person would rate highly for authoritarianism. The team got the same pattern when they repeated the experiment with 160 volunteers based in the US.

The team then looked at whether a person’s sensitivity to body odour disgust might predict their support for an authoritarian figure, like Donald Trump. They ran their experiment for a third time, one month before the 2016 US presidential election, and asked participants which candidate they supported, and to what degree.

“Those that were most supportive of Donald Trump had the highest body odour disgust sensitivity,” says Olofsson.

“My pretty-girl allies stick out like a sore thumb amongst the corn-fed, no make-up, natural fiber, no-bra needing, sandal-wearing, hirsute, somewhat fragrant hippie chick pie wagons they call “women” at the Democratic National Convention.“ -Ann Coulter

Whether you like her politics- you know she’s correct. Democrats are the stinkers, even the women.

MAGA just needs to come to grips that their cult leader smells terrible. It is what it is. They’ll probably vote for him any way despite the stench.
