She has a brain. Brearley is generally regarded as the most prestigious of the all girls schools in Manhattan. Yes, it's very expensive. But as private schools go, it is very generous with financial aid. It also has a reputation for rejecting girls who are legacies from wealthy families who are not particularly smart themselves.
