high quality place for ear piercing (NOT claire's at the mall)

They did an excellent job of sterilizing everything and the piercing was perfect, but they basically slowly put a needle through the center of her lobe with no numbing. She cried throughout and regrets doing it. Oh and it was around $200 including the cheapest earrings they had.

That's not the experience we had. They did both ears at the same time and were super quick. Both of my girls said it hurt less than getting a flu shot. Does your child also cry when she gets vaccines? It's not typical for them to numb ears, btw.

Pricey jewelry but great piercers

Was not impressed. DD had uneven placement. Should’ve just used the guns.

She recently got both the covid and flu vaccines and barely noticed, this was on another level entirely. I think the problem was just that they did it very slowly.

My sister and I got ours done at our kitchen table by my pediatrician aunt.

Our daughters got theirs done at Claires.

Another vote for Craig Pokes U.

Just do it yourself. You can buy the ear punch kit on Amazon, buy a small bit of benzocaine. Put a dot with marker where you want it and go. I trust myself much more than an employee and it’s so easy

My DD just got hers done at Claire’s and it was a breeze. We had a very experienced older employee do it, and she gave perfect advice on hole placement. It didn’t really hurt. My DD said getting a flu shot hurt worse.

Craig Pokes H was great for my DD who decided to get her ears pierced for her 16th birthday.

She was afraid that it would hurt, but she said it didn’t at all. It was quick, easy, and painless.

Oops. Craig Pokes U - not H.

And yet another vote for Craig Pokes U. We had a very good experience but it was pricey, lots of paperwork, and so when DD wanted her 2nd piercing (still lobes, but above the last ones) we asked her to find a regular piercing place in VA and we went to Queens Gambit because we figured, how can any real piercing place go wrong? Well we found out. Nothing truly horrible, but would never go there again.

So it confirmed for me that Craig Pokes U does it right, plus they really do a great job with people who are scared or nervous. Though as someone else said, I don't think anyone uses actual numbing meds or cremes. But they do it quickly and we had no problems with the even-ness of the holes.

I would say a lot went to Craig pokes U but I didn't want to go that far and we went to Ink'I.Adore in Springfield. I thought it was fine.

I also pierced my own ears myself as a kid so... LOL

We took our daughter to a tattoo parlor right when they opened at noon. It was kind of funny but the woman was nice and professional and it was easy.

Claire’s will be the fastest and least painful.
