My DH is probably the most enthusiastic bedroom partner that ever existed. He get's his own pleasure from pleasing his partner. 15+ years together and it seems to get even more enthusiastic as the years go on even when I don't think that's possible.

DW is somewhat enthusiastic but I’d love to see some improvement. Not unhappy but I wish she approached it like a prisoner just let out of jail …

I don’t expect enthusiasm or necessarily even happily willing. Things would improve with just “willing”.

Mileage varies. If my wife is merely tolerating sex, it's overly complicated masturbation. I'd much rather she just say "no thanks" at that point.
