First aid is good but make your own. There’s so much crap you’ll never use in the purchased ones. Put some band aids, gauze, bandage wrap, Advil, neosporin, etc in a small case.

AAA is not great either. If you break down or get in an accident their tow trucks could be 2 hours. Police tow is 30 mins or less.

the police don’t want to jump your dead battery or get the keys out of a locked car. There are also great AAA benefits like passport renewal, discounted travel, free passport photos 1x/year. Etc

No. I hate receiving these. So annoying and hard to dispose of.

A trash can for the car.

The good OXO garlic press with the little plastic thing that clears the unused garlic from the holes.

A hand-crank radio/flashlight. Great for emergencies.

Re-useable mesh produce bags.

Portable car battery charger. Eye massager goggles. My dd got me one and we all use it when our head hurts.

Two quality pairs of scissors. (Sure, a good knife is also great, but will cost you 3x as much).

Good electric pencil sharpener (if they have kids; ours gets used daily for 2 elem. schoolers)
