Terrible bumper sticker on teen car

Anonymous
I was once stuck in traffic behind this one: https://www.amazon.com/CCI037-Sushi-Sticker-Trucks-Laptop/dp/B01FZNT3L8

Can you imagine having this on your car at the office parking lot? Or anywhere?

You are wound really tight, aren't you? Relax. it's a joke.

OP here. I was hit by a teen driver when I was a child. I spent months in the hospital and had to be pinned back together. I have permanent scars from the accident. When you or a family member goes through something like that please let me know how funny you think it is. The slogan is in really poor taste given how much pedestrian fatalities have increased in recent years.
I'm really sorry for what happened to you; that's awful. But you realize you're having a response based on a very specific incident that happened to you. That probably has not happened to most people. Again, I'm sorry and I understand why the bumper sticker is upsetting for you, but can you not see why the average person who has not experienced that would find it funny?

Ah, I see the problem. No one cares if you’re offended.

I don’t know how, or exactly when, so many of you decided that you were entitled not to be offended; but thankfully (college campuses aside) we seem to be returning to some approximation of normalcy and common sense.

This response is hysterical. Common sense and normalcy lol? It’s a dumb sticker to have on a car for the same reason you wouldn’t put “I love driving drunk”.

Not a troll. There was also a private school sticker on the car.

No, I really can’t understand why anyone with young children would find this funny.

That’s even worse.

Two PG elementary school students were killed before Thanksgiving by a driver who didn’t brake for them.

Of course you were OP.

Yes, I was. I’m happy to answer any questions about it. I had a fractured femur and spent two months in traction, another eight weeks in a body cast, two months on crutches and another several months in PT learning how to walk again.

Ah yes, the argument from authority. Of course it is tasteless but so are a lot of things. Grow up and quit wasting your time on such stupid things - it will save you from being mocked so much in the future.
