"“No, we have never participated or had the lighting of a menorah as part of our event,” Vermillion said. “We have never, as I said, included any religious or cultural event at the festival. That’s part of the problem with that article is that they made it seem like we’ve done it in the past, which is untrue.”

Why would voters who are attracted to the likes of Trump ever vote for someone as bland as Youngkin? Your parents' and grandparents' GOP is dead. Today's GOP likes to be entertained by their leaders--they want someone who talks tough, openly displays their racism/sexism/ableism etc.(called being "authentic"), is crass, and comes with a side of authoritarianism. Youngkin is not cut from this mold.

If you read more OP, you would find that colonial Williamsburg either needed to include all religions (including Christianity) or none. Not as political as you are making it.

They don't need to do that.

Why is Youngkin, the face of VA government, trying to FORCE people to add religion to this event?

I get that Republicans hate our country but why such a blatant attack on the 1st amendment?

Nope. Republicans are traitors.

It’s not like Hannukah is a significant holiday for Jews, though
