No, electing county council members that legalized crime comes with perils.
People should be able to move freely without being carjacked and pistol whipped. But equity is more important.

Yup. Equity is now defined as getting pistol whipped by a 13 year old.

Doesn't hurt as much if a kid shoots you or drives off with your body hanging from the car.

I drive a stick shift - it’s an old forester so I’m hoping not enticing for car jacking anyway. Though I do wonder if I’d end up getting hurt in an attempted carjacking when the would be carjackers realized they couldn’t drive the car.

I'm for National Guard and Road Blocks. Show your paperwork and proceed.

Horse hockey to both these comments. Let them track and lock up criminals.

No, most of the car jackets are repeat offenders who belong locked up not out on the street terrorizing people. Also, car jackets should face the same punishment as horse thieves in the old west.

Problem would resolve itself quickly.

We drive an old car for this reason. I’d like a fun car but don’t want to risk it.

Bethesda had a carjacking near a news or broadcast station. They tried to take a red SUV.

That’s dumb sorry. Your chances of getting carjacked are still really low.

A car was stolen from right outside my house. No thanks.

Of the 900+ carjackings in DC this year, there was at least one where the kids came back and beat the sht out of a guy because they couldn’t drive his stick shift.

There was a shoot out that happened right off EW Highway just up the street from Ray's Meadow Park before you get to Rock Creek Forest Pool last Friday, broad daylight.

This place has jumped the shark

You have to be pretty oblivious to not notice someone following you for miles.

If I'm followed home like this, it will end with a bang. Promise.
And I will sleep like a baby after the carcass of the worthless cretin is removed from my property.

Oh sure. That makes it all ok. Just a couple of kids out having some fun.

Not even close. But if it helps you to feel better by blaming the victims, go for it, big boy.
