Why do celebrities use surrogates so much?

Anonymous
We have no idea how many losses they’ve had, what they’ve tried or not, what medical conditions they might have.

Khloe Kardashian used a surrogate for her second child AND she’s publicly acknowledged she struggled to bond with him.

Endometriosis is seemingly on the rise. I know several people diagnosed recently in their late teens/early twenties. Several.

None had abortions.

I’m guessing one of the BC pills heavily marketed must play a role. Several came and went quickly over the last decade or so.

This is like everything else. Those who made a different decision for whatever reason just to find blame and reason for someone doing it another way, usually just way to make themselves feel better with their own choice.

- SAHM think they’re better than those tgat WOH And use childcare
- People who clean their own house Think they are better than people who get their house cleaned
- Women who have have natural childbirth, think that people who are drugged
- People who struggle with their weight and weightloss think they are better than people who have weight loss, surgery or drugs

None of those things are remotely similar to paying someone to grow and carry your child inside their body.

The trend is disturbing. I get it when you have medical reasons, but clearly it has gone beyond that at this point.

No One seems to care about the impact on the life of the surrogates

Not often, it’s only a struggle for the medically incompetent.

Knowinf how to buy a baby doesn't make you "medically competent"

Hot take is just wrong. The commodification of biological material, and actually renting a woman's uterus, is very scary territory.

Socialites have enough money to have children during 18-24, recovery fast and get back to their life. Why wait until 36?

I don’t know any socialite, or anyone even UMC, who had children 18-24.

This. Surrogacy is illegal in almost every western country. The US only allows it because there’s biblical precedent and we’re a much more religious nation than Europe, Canada, Australia, etc.

They have means to make other people carry and raise their children while they get to play parents at their convenience. They want to look young and pretty so avoid damage caused by pregnancy and birth and as most of their relationships/marriages fail within years so probably they want untainted body for next partner.
