Give them the expectations of proper behavior. A set time and meeting location, and your cell phone number to call if anything happens. They meet back at the food court at a set time and the group that has the most by that time gets a prize. Then you buy them drinks and bring out cupcakes.

Most 11 year olds do not have phones, where do you live?

My 12 year old has been to several parties this year. Almost all of them have been small at home parties. The two that weren't at home were at Escape Rooms.

Rent a movie theater with food (Alamo etc). Can accommodate like 50 guests

Bowling, pottery painting, ice skating and escape rooms are popular bday venues for my tween kids friends. Oh, and Top Golf!

We did ice skating for my 11 yo’s bday party last month. A friend of hers did a party at a movie theater.

What does LUSH do? We are thinking about doing a mall scavenger hunt and there’s a LUSH there. When I went in to make a note about what the girls could find there, the people said oh we can help and the kids can do samples. But I wasn’t sure what they meant.

We did an escape room when my 13 year old turned 11. This year we're doing bowling, but the other idea we had was an at-home brunch-for-dinner party.

We looked into it but the problem is it has to be before regular store hours. It’s too early for a birthday party in my opinion.

My kid had her 12th birthday at Endless OM yoga studio. They did an aerial yoga class. Cake afterwards in studio. It was a huge hit and the kids loved the photos doing various tricks

You suggest this on every. single. birthday thread that someone posts. It's a stupid idea, please stop posting it.
