11 year old girl birthday party location ideas

Where do girls typically go for their birthday at this age? Any recommendations of something fun and unique? She loves art, shopping, sports. She has so many friends this is challenging. Looking for location ideas.

You could do a mall scavenger hunt. Give them a list of things to take pictures of (assuming most have phones now? Group them so at least 1/group has a phone). Give them the expectations of proper behavior. A set time and meeting location, and your cell phone number to call if anything happens. They meet back at the food court at a set time and the group that has the most by that time gets a prize. Then you buy them drinks and bring out cupcakes.

Probably too expensive for many participants but many of the paint and sip places do offer kids events.
You may be able to get a room in an art gallery and pay for someone to do this on a Saturday.
You can maybe get an art student to help as there are many tutorials on YouTube.

Mine has a summer birthday and had a pool party for her 11th.
If Winter I would do somewhere like urban air or Skyzone depending on where you live.

We did a party at All Fired Up. Didn't even need the birthday party package at this age; the girls just painted and chatted and ate cupcakes.

We've done a day at the Springfield mall - including lunch at a restaurant, a movie and Dave and Busters.

We did ice skating, didn’t get the party room but just invited a few friends and had lunch / cupcakes after.

Search the threads. This has been answered numerous times in recent weeks.

- A nice dinner out
- A "spa" themed party in your basement if size/guest numbers appropriate (or some sort of theme that your kid wants)
- Rent theater for a movie if you truly have a zillion friends to invite
- Dave and Busters + dinner is a great idea.
- Laser Tag still works actually
- There's a place in Georgetown that has a cat cafe - you can rent that out for a couple hours and let them hang and talk
- Escape Room

We've done all the above either hosting or attending from age 8+

DD is now looking at an age 12 sleepover and a very small gathering for indoor skydiving.

Any new ideas that were a hit for your 19-12 year old girls? We are in Howard County Maryland, so wouldn’t be able to get out to Fairfax for instance. Anyone do baby goat yoga? Tried to google to see if there was an option for that, but nothing promising.

Escape room followed by Korean BBQ or a group cooking class are currently very popular with that age group (in Queens/Manhattan).
