| Yes. I'm Chinese. Grew up drinking it. I love it, DH (different Asian), and our kids love it, too. You do realize you can order it without pearls, right? |
| I like it but very picky where I buy it. Definitely difference between most chain places and small tea places. For example fruit teas with real fruit.. |
| No. Hate it. It’s just drinking what’s tantamount to melted ice cream. Yes, it isn’t health food. No, I am not white so I am not pushing an ethnocentric view. It’s just junk food in a cup. A monstrosity of sugar, fat, and empty carbs. |
|
| I don’t like it. But I love milk tea. |
+1 and only so long as I have a low sugar option. |
But in that case you can get it for cheaper elsewhere... |
| I hate the tapioca pearls but I like milk tea. |
| no |
| My teen loves it. I'm not a fan. |
|
Had it once, and it was OK, but I couldn’t get through more than a few ounces.
I like tapioca pudding (I am old), so the blobs were fine, but the experience as a whole? Meh |
| I like it as a dessert on a hot day when I'm doing a long list of chores. It's an easy break if I'm covering a lot of ground running errands, but it's a lot of calories. |
| Not particularly. I think the novelty attracts people, but the texture doesn't appeal to me and I don't find it particularly tasty outside of the "bubbles," either. |
| Yes, but it makes me nauseous afterwards. |
who cares? so has opium. Bubble tea is full of sugar |
