What are your concerns? |
That makes sense: vote for an even more conservative person than the conservative you don't like. Rives withdrew anyway. |
Yeah, you’re going to have to spell this out for me. She won the Democratic primary. There is literally nothing objectionable in her list of priorities. Are you offended by the absence of the usual “equity” drivel? Because that’s the only thing I’m seeing here and for all the focus this Board has placed on “equity”, we have nothing but “equitably bad” to show for it. |
But anyone can run for the Democratic primary. Just have to get a petition going and turn it on to Steve Baker. We actually have true DINOs running this county. Miranda just joined them.
The fact that you’re against equity shows that you’re not a true progressive either. |
Only in your imagination. They came out of it friends. |
And the only reason Miranda won was that Angelo was worse. No true Dems wanted to vote for her. She showed herself to be a total racist in her last race against Kadera.
If literally anyone else ran that had a kid at APS who wasn’t APE, we would’ve voting for them instead right now. |
You sure about this? I’ve never heard Turner’s name come out of Mary’s mouth. |
If they’re such good friends, why didn’t Mary endorse Miranda?
|
That is the biggest load of BS I've ever read on DCUM. |
The fact that you call any dem you don’t agree with 100% on every issue a closet MAGA shows how ridiculous you are. |
Miranda and APEs are closet magats tho, and running as Dems is smart! I’ll give them that. Corrupt the party from the inside.
But answer me why Mary never endorsed her good friend. |
I asked her if she’d endorse anyone in race before it was clear who were the candidates. She said on principle she didn’t want to endorse in race where she would serve with the winner. |
She was pretty open (though not public) in her support of MT. |
+1 |
Totally agree with this. I hope she does actually speak up, offer countering viewpoints at times, and encourages debate. Until there is someone not agreeing and patting them on the back 100% of the time , things can’t change. |
