Too late. Sheriffs are already doing this. Look at the picture from the Post above on 10/17/2023 19:58. That pic is the this year.

If a police sees children playing walking or doing whatever wherever during school time, the police should not invoke their authority to intimidate the children.

Chronic absenteeism is a serious problem and the pandemic has caused it to spike. Kids who are supposed to be in school are supposed to be in school. Having Officer Friendly remind them of that is not a bad thing.

having an officer do that is unconstitutional. They would be removed from office if they went around doing this. No prosecutor is going to prosecute this crime.

Do tell, how do you think a Sherrif will bring back anything to the schools regarding curriculum? Also, you can always teach your child cursive. You don't have to wait on the schools to do it if it's that important to you.

While you were sleeping… our schools have become riddle with drugs assaults and all kids of criminal conduct.

Criminals end up in jail and sheriff are the experts at keeping jails safe and secure.

Sheriffs will do a great jobs of assisting SROs to keep our children safe as the get educated in Jail.. I meant school.

Of course… as long as sheriffs get some extra funding for this new role.
