He knows what he’s doing.

Administrators have Already established the quickest way to get Fairfax deputy sheriffs showing up at schools to bring back law and order is to dial 911 and Hangup.

If I knew he wanted to bring back cursive, I might have voted for him, but alas, I already voted absentee for Kincaid.

This is the deputy sheriffs keeping things in order at Fairfax High School back in June 2023. https://twitter.com/Code3DMV/status/1666136060148035586

We'll be voting on voting day. I'll take a close look at this guy. Cursive? Sounds great!

Because most voters don’t know how government works and they believe he can influence cursive instruction.

It the same way with lots of politicians. Like people think if they vote for candidate X- this thing will change but if they understood civics- they would know that is not possible

Just like the police, Deputy Sheriffs will soon have an office in every school to teach our children about life in jail.

Do tell, how do you think a Sherrif will bring back anything to the schools regarding curriculum? Also, you can always teach your child cursive. You don't have to wait on the schools to do it if it's that important to you.

My DW doesn't frequent DCUM. She was walking back up the drive today with the mail and started reading a two sided flyer to me. I immediately knew what it was. I didn't realize how bizarre it was until we received it today.

While you were sleeping… our schools have become riddle with drugs assaults and all kids of criminal conduct.

Criminals end up in jail and sheriff are the experts at keeping jails safe and secure.

Sheriffs will do a great jobs of assisting SROs to keep our children safe as the get educated in Jail.. I meant school.

Of course… as long as sheriffs get some extra funding for this new role.

I am tempted to dig it out of my trash to post it here. It was a weird rambling list of how he wants policing of our schools and truancy and how he’s going to have a regular Radio Show!! It read like a list from 1952. I couldn’t throw it away fast enough. Do I think the present behavior in schools is acceptable? No. But I don’t want some old Radio Show guy sending our police out to nab the truants and pull kids out of school in handcuffs.
