Do you tip at Starbucks?

| When ordering just for me, no. When I have to order a bunch of orders, then I'll tip a couple of dollars. I usually order and tip in person. |

I rarely go to Starbucks, maybe a few times a year, but I airways tip. At least the coins change from my order, usually $1+coins.
I worked as a barista for a while in college and learned the hard way how those dimes and quarters can really add up to make a difference in someone's life. |

Wow. Had no idea I was such an outlier. I tip. I actually love that the screens (I use the counter, not the app) make it easier to tip. I rarely carry cash and haven't for years, and always felt bad when my lack of cash made it difficult for me to tip.

Yes, I tip. Pre-pandemic I'd always put my change into the tip jar at my local Starbucks, which I frequented a lot. Then the pandemic came and I used the app and I didn't tip because if I could tip in app, I didn't know it. I know we can tip in app now, but that's new, right? Over the past year, not knowing how to (or not being able to?) tip in app, I've been slipping a $20 bill into the tip jar when I actually have cash. I almost never have cash anymore so can go to Starbucks almost daily for a good 6 weeks or more without tipping -- hence the $20s.
Very recently I've figured out how to tip in app, and will do the 50 cent tip. But I often forget because it is on the receipt screen which I am not used to looking at. |

| No, they get a wage. $0 tips anywhere with a wage. That includes DC soon. Won't be tipping anywhere in DC once they get minimum wage. |
