I need a new clothes detergent - please recommend what you love

All free & clear, vinegar in the softener dispenser to deodorize the laundry. If you knew what was in fragrance used in laundry detergent, dryer sheets and other cleaning products you’d avoid them like any sensible respiratory doctor would tell you to.

If you want fragrance, use a drop or two of essential oil of your choice on wool dryer balls and toss them in with the laundry while it’s drying.

I really like Earth Breeze. It works great and takes up so little space.

I have become a huge fan of laundry sheets - no plastic waste - easy to put in. Seems to clean just fine!

How do you make homemade powder?

I washed a load of clothes at our beach house using the Tide pods my SIL brought.

My entire closet still smells like whatever scent Tide adds to their detergent.

I use Seventh Generation scent free. Works great. Only need a tablespoon or so.

Tide powder. For stinky running gear, I add some Lysol sanitizer to the softener - nice scent and it really does neutralize some tough odors.

All free and clear 100%. Never stinky Tide!

Arm and Hammer pods... regularly buy one get one and works fine. I feel like I should stop using pods though so may switch soon.
