No need. Switch to shots. |
You need to start fasting. Give your body a break from food and let it get the fuel from reserves.

I turned 50 less than a year ago and promptly gained 10 lbs, with what seemed like no change to my eating (not super healthy, but not super unhealthy) or workout habits (20-30 minutes, 7 days/ week). Your weights are very similar to mine. I opted to try nutrisystem -- I found some online deal for a little more than 1/2 off. The first week was a serious calorie deficit and I dropped 5 lbs. But after that, it's 3 meals and 3 snacks a day, and I've dropped another 10 lbs, so 15 total. I've been on the program for 4 months now and am going to keep at it. I'm not 100% strict on it...sometimes I declare that wine is my last "snack" LOL. But, I feel great, it's easy to do, and the weight is continuing to slowly come off. It's been at least 8 years since I was consistently at this current weight. Good luck! |
Weight lifting. Muscle will help you burn more calories and improve your overall fitness level. It's very important as we age! |
I’m 39 post-hysterectomy and travel a lot for work. It just takes longer because of the hormones. Let’s keep it up for health and not just for looks! |
No juice, coffee, starbucks, or soda. You ONLY drink water. Cut ALL carbs and sauces (nothing but fat and sugar and this includes salad dressing). Cut the sugar out and this includes some fruits that are of high glycemic index. I do IF with a 19/5 window and do not drink a drop of alcohol. Also, I hit the gym 4 times a week and do 1 hour cardio and 1/2 hour swimming laps. Good luck! |
When I lost 80lbs this was key for me. I had been drinking a very large amount of calories in Starbucks drinks almost every day. |
No coffee? :O why? |
