| For $30k, you should have a luxury travel agent throw some ideas together to present you with. You don’t crowdsource vacation ideas from the internet at that budget. |
Concierge suite on a Disney cruise to Eastern or Western Caribbean. Add on some park days with VIP pass before and after, including Mickeys Christmas Party. Easy fun relaxing vacation with very little planning required. You’re welcome. |
| Destin, Florida. |
Australia would be perfect that time of year if you are willing to do the flights! |
I agree. At 30k I want all logistics out of my hands and a professional getting it immaculately planned to where I just execute. |
| Machu Picchu is amazing too for all of your age group. |

I’m surprised no one has suggested Costa Rica. 1 night at the Peace Lodge, 3/4 nights in Arenal, 4 nights in Guanacaste. Some of the top hotels may already be booked for Christmas but we went Christmas when our kids were around those ages and loved it!
Galapagos would be another good option - we almost booked but decided it really only works with a cruise and didn’t want to do a cruise. I would have said Hawaii for sure, but with what’s going on in Maui, I might wait until next year on that. |
| Camping St Johns , US Virgin Islands. So affordable for our family of 5, and unforgettable. Kids loved it way more than London or Amsterdam. No need to spend 30K, what a joke. |
That sounds like hell….and so pedestrian. |
This Ritz in USVI is great…. https://t.vrbo.io/rquaSgQweCb Or rent this catamaran https://t.vrbo.io/DCWxHX4weCb |

Lots of ideas; what dates?
Does $30k include international flights? |
Call it what you want but it’s fun and the kids will love it. Disney cruises, especially Concierge level, are glorious. The Christmas cruises are especially magical. I can tell you’ve never tried one and that’s okay. My family loves them. |

Cool catamaran. |

If you camp on St John when you can afford to spend $30k, something is wrong with your priorities in life.
Please ignore the camping PP. STJ has too many beautiful accommodations at your price level, than for your family to be forced to suffer while pretending to be homeless on a hot Caribbean beach. In fact, skip STJ and charter a boat to sail the BVIs. Will be a much better experience. STJ is nice enough but far lower crowds and better beaches in the BVIs. |
