Probably not as comfortable as at Tulane, Emory, U Florida, and a number of other schools according to numbers provided by the Hillel Guide. WFU is not among the top 120 US colleges & universities attended by Jewish students.

Where do they go after college?

According to WFU, these are WFU's 8 most common overlap schools:

Duke, Emory, UNC, Virginia, NC State, Wm.& Mary, U Richmond, and Boston College.

I’m surprised no UVA.

Virginia is UVA.

I would NOT classify Wake as Rural non-urban

While the campus isn't walkable to much, it is just on the outskirts of a city. I would say it is suburban.

It is a lovely campus, though! Loved my 4 years there

VERY wealthy, preppy population, still fairly Southern. There’s not much to do off-campus, and they cracked down on alcohol on campus so now all the kids drive off campus to get wasted. Not good. Even the fraternities are off-campus.

Beautiful campus, on the outskirts of a decent city. Attended by UMC white kids that are smart, sociable and competitive. Go on to careers in business and professional graduate programs. Both of my kids got in and wound up being their runner up choice.

Longish but doable drive from the DC area.
