Why even get the Chipotle, just add chicken to the above? |
| I look at it and say “omg who could eat this whole thing, I’ll only eat half I’m sure” and then eat the whole thing . Every time. |
| I always eat half and save the other half for the next day. I reheat it but don't really like that I have to heat the lettuce. |
|
I can easily eat the whole thing, but I try to just eat half.
It really doesn't taste as good the next day, but I have to force myself to portion control. I truly wish restaurant portions were smaller. I either binge, throw out perfectly good food, or eat the calories the next day when they don't taste as good and I don't need the greasy restaurant food out of convenience or craving. |
I love the taste of the beans, cilantro rice, guac, cheese, veggies, sour cream, salsa, chicken etc. Also, I usually have all this stuff at home already prepped, so to add all of this takes 2 minutes tops and it does make it healthier and tastier imho. Also, stretches the meal. |
She must be the lady who only lets her family have once slice of pizza. Fills up the rest of the plate with green beans. |
| I eat the whole thing and then I feel gross. But that's how I do it and have for almost 20 years. |
Lol this is one of the dumbest things I have ever seen on this forum. And that is saying a lot. Such a weird way to try to virtue signal. |
| It depends on what I add to it and how hungry I am. I rarely have difficulty stopping when I start feeling full. |
| I get the kids' meal. My son eats the entire bowl - he is 14 and skinny as a stick, so I guess it is probably fine for now. |
I was thinking the same thing. Not virtue signaling, but you clearly know how to cook. It seems like it would take less time to grill some chicken breast than it would to drive to the store and pick up the order. |
| Do people actually like the bowls? I don't find them that flavorful, even with guac and sour cream and pico de gallo. They aren't actively bad, but they're not actively good either - just filling and mediocre. |
not really. sometimes it is easier and faster for me to hack a chipotle bowl and add in my usual prepped ingredients to it. Family likes the taste, less clean up, no need to grocery shop for avocado or other ingredients, much healthier, cheaper, tastier and it stretches the food. |
yup... I can barely finish half |
