Lol. She is doing just fine. I’m sure she jumped in wherever and didn’t notice every single person around her staring at her.

I’m mostly in agreement with you except “tense situation”? That’s hilarious and sad.

My sarcasm flowed into that phrase.

not well

I agree with everything you wrote (people are far too harsh on all of the royals) everything except the last paragraph

Did you watch the video?

She didn't "jump in wherever" she walks directly to the teenagers who were all lined up in a row waiting for her.
Instead of shaking the very first boys hand, she blatantly skipped over him, then reaches out to shake hands with everyone else in that line after him.

I don't think it was intentional, but this also wasn't a case where she came into a crowd randomly. They were all lined up and waitingv for her, she walks circulation over to them and surpasses the first boy, then shakes hands with the second (instead of the first).

It was just bizarre that's all, because it appears like it was blatant, but I personally don't think that it was.

Imagine our confusion.

maybe the first kid is a devout Muslim? I recall from someone I follow on instagram that she as a woman would never shake hands with a man who was a stranger to her bc it was not acceptable practice so maybe she was told to skip him?

OP, if you're going to make exaggerated claims and capitalize the key word, you might want to check your spelling before posting.

Well, dear Katie is not the brightest bulb. Maybe she got confused.

The royals shake whatever hands they want to shake and converse with whomever they choose to converse. Just to move things along and convey the impression that they are interested and appreciative of regular people. But it's rarely choreographed so that everyone gets a handshake or exchanges meaningless pleasantries with a royal.

In other words, much ado about nothing.

I doubt that was intentional. But damn, the job is literally smiling and shaking hands.

Tell us more about how you didn't watch Kate at Wimbledon.

I remember watching Wimbledon decades ago, when the Duchess of Kent was still handing out the trophies. She would shake hands with all the ball boys and girls and speak a few words with almost everyone.

They routinely are not expected to shake hands with all of them at this event. This is a non-issue.

Oh for g*d’s sale. She shook all the hands and the other royal was shaking hands on the other side. She took over the last few on his side. Nothing to see here folks.

Exactly but it’s truly hilarious to see some people get bent out of shape over something so trivial, especially when the targets of their ire will never know of their existence!

It’s routine for them to skip one person and shake everyone else’s hand? That’s odd.

I agree that there may have been a specific reason he was skipped, and his placement was intentional so they knew who to skip.

OMG, you have no idea what happened. Someone ELSE shook that boy's hand, you moron.
