Kate Middleton SNUBBS ball boy at Wimbledon

Normally, I don't care about the royal family or have ever posted about them (Jeff can confirm) but I found this really sad.
While being introduced at Wimbledon yesterday, Kate skipped directly over the first teenaged ball boy and then shakes the hand with the second, and the third and all of the rest, right down the line. I imagine it was unintentional and she's probably embarrassed (because it couldn't have been about race, as the second ball boy was black, too). I don't know enough about Kate to know if she'd do something like this intentionally to a teenager? My heart says no. I just felt really bad & sad for this kid when I saw it happen... | One thing I didn't get while I watched it - she also "snubbed" the ball kids on the other side. She only shook hands with the one side of ball kids. |

I agree with everything you wrote (people are far too harsh on all of the royals) everything except the last paragraph Did you watch the video? She didn't "jump in wherever" she walks directly to the teenagers who were all lined up in a row waiting for her. Instead of shaking the very first boys hand, she blatantly skipped over him, then reaches out to shake hands with everyone else in that line after him. I don't think it was intentional, but this also wasn't a case where she came into a crowd randomly. They were all lined up and waitingv for her, she walks circulation over to them and surpasses the first boy, then shakes hands with the second (instead of the first). It was just bizarre that's all, because it appears like it was blatant, but I personally don't think that it was. |
