Yeahhhhh

It's nice to hear about Loiderman. Most families and kids don't like any of the middle schools.

Current CCES family. Absolutely love it.

Current Bradley Hills family and we love it.

Good to great teachers in all except one class, excellent language instruction all three years, and really love that the block schedule allows kids to take 8 classes. It was great to balance out the academics with such fantastic electives.

I do not have positive views of older kid’s elementary school experience, minus two absolutely amazing teachers.

Nothing but negatives about our younger kid’s elementary experience - hoping middle school will be better.

I’m so happy to hear that you like Loiederman!

We had a bad experience at Loiederman and left.

We are so grateful to be at RCF immersion. The teachers, staff, parents, and kids are next level. Cannot say enough good things about the school and the program.

It isn’t MCPS, but I recommend looking into West Laurel - Bond Mill Elementary, specifically. It’s a great school.

We lived in eastern MoCo at one point but moved the couple minutes drive into PG. Very happy here.

I have friends whose children recently attended and currently attend Bond Mill and they love/d it!

Oh- except Bond Mill is Howard County.

Oh- maybe there is more than one.
Bond Mill Elementary School
16001 Sherwood Avenue
Laurel, Maryland 20707 is PGCPS.

You're right- I was thinking about Laurel Woods. Sorry!

Don’t apologize. Neither are in MCPS!

Do you have any personal experience with any of these schools? What do you like about them?

So far it’s mostly people singing the praises of ES’s in W clusters. Not surprising.

We’re happy with Cashell.

For the number of W cluster parents on DCUM, I wouldn't say this thread has generated that many posts singing the praises of W ESs.

-parent whose kids went through a W ES

I’m the PP who suggested Bond Mill. Yes, it’s part of PGCPS. (West Laurel is a great neighborhood, too.)

Lol. Not even really. More like one poster who rattled off the names of some ESs in W clusters. Without much to back that claim of greatness up.

I don't know about LOVE, but I've been very happy with Seneca Valley HS, which my child currently attends.

Asking for testimonials about LOVING a school is a tall order. I've had three kids in Bradley Hills with one still there and I really like the school and would encourage anyone to send their kids there. The teachers are most very good and are engaged. The community is strong. The administration is responsive and cares about the kids. All around an extremely positive experience. I'm just not one to say I love a school and I think a lot of people are probably the same.
