What's the ultimate summer meal?

Anonymous
Watermelon
Corn on the cob
Grilled hot dogs/burgers (we don't have a grill at home but use the ones at the pool during the summer)
Popsicles

We wouldn't forget this, but DH and I switch to homemade cold brew during the summer - that really signals to me that summer is here, even if it's still technically spring.

Jalapeno popper potato salad - google it!

I concur,

Peaches
Tomatoes
Corn
Cherries

The best of these are the keys, in various recipes.

When my garden gets going, my ultimate summer lunch most days is a BLT on sourdough, with a cup of homemade gazpacho or cold cucumber yogurt soup.

For an ultimate summer dinner, it would have to be something like smoked ribs or grilled chicken, corn on the cob, homemade potato salad, grilled zucchini, and some sliced watermelon.

If I’m feeling extra gluttonous, warm peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream AND whipped cream!

I agree with so many of these!!

Ribs, fried chicken, panzenella, tomato pie, BLT’s with backyard tomatoes, crabs, lots of rosé with cheese & crackers, homemade ice cream sandwiches…

Oh yum.

Op for me it's grilled meat and a salad of some kind. Hopefully with baby potatoes fresh from someone's garden.
It used to be veggies from Grannie's garden but she has passed away.
