Yeah, I do trust the one (who has basically free rein of her own device), but will do more room checking tomorrow bc she is sometimes absentminded. The other one USUALLY confesses bc stuff weighs on him. We have directly asked him a few times in the time it has been missing and he denies.

I assume you checked under the couch cushions and all chair cushions? Under the rug under the couch? Did you do a thorough search of your children's rooms?

That will serve most of your computing needs for the time being (unless you are a developer), and be rock steady for interview.

Am considering this path. Need to do an in-depth budget review. But with our Costco rebate that would be almost free actually have to compare the Costco rebate and price to our Apple Card rebate. Thanks!!

I lost my Kindle in an AirBnB couch. Was looking all over for it before leaving, and my husband found it. I had even LOOKED there. Can't believe I missed it. DH will never let me live that down!

Yes, OP here and I just came on to say I found it!!!!!
It was IN IN IN the couch!

We had taken the couch cushions off and last night I had run my hands behind/under the attached back cushions. I did the same for an armchair and I realized I obviously had not vacuumed under the cushions in a while, so I decided to do that this morning. I spotted the silver slim edge of the computer DOWN in the area beside the arm of the couch...the computer had slid way down and was trapped under the lining below where the cushions rest. I actually thought it was part of the construction of the couch and I had to pull it out! It is a bit scratched (was obviously shoved down against something hard), but works!

I feel like an idiot, but at least three of us had looked in and around the couch! Thanks for the ideas and the accountability of posting to an anonymous forum!
