Yes they did. The OP said they couldn't find a church that "feels right." I can understand this. Many people who've posted here in the past acknowledge they church-shop to find one that fits their personal sensibilities. |
Attacking Christianity and Christians by obsessively posting fake scenarios in a religion forum shouldn’t be a personality, yet here you are. |
So what’s wrong with the church they attended prior to the pandemic? Honestly op should explain these things, but we know op was an atheist/anti-theist troll, so they will never return. |
I take the OP's post at face value. They said they became disconnected during the pandemic and now have struggled to reignite their faith - and haven't found a church that does that for them. What's so difficult to believe about this? Seems about right to me. |
because if op posted asking for help and opinions and advice- why would they disapear? |
PP here. I believe there are many paths to God so you're way off base. This became a sh!t show when atheists and a Muslim started trashing OP's religion with some dishonest representations, shameless gish galloping and straight-up insults. We should be able to discuss alternative churches and even alternative religions without any of that. |
It’s not an attack to tell Christians to look in to Buddhism, I know many nuns and priest who study Buddhism. |
No it starred with “The buddhists don't have a god! So that's out for OP,” It’s not out for OP. |
|
Here is just one example how studying Buddhism can bring you closer to god

tl;dr
atheist/antitheist op troll posts fake thread with nonsense details op disappears atheists, antitheists, muslims, buddhists, etc, begin giving helpful suggestions while claiming all gods are the same, disparaging the Christian God, etc now a zombie thread created by a fake op will run for many many pages with no discernible topic open thread for attacking the Bible, the Christian God, Christian beliefs, etc |
DP. Yes, Christians study Buddhism and some Buddhists (like Thich Nhat Hang) look into Christianity. You're so dishonest. The issue is when some of you post about how all religion is man-made, fake, etc. As you know. |
So you are proselytizing for Buddhism? |
Weird you truncated the quote to eliminate that PP' openness to non-Christian alternatives. Here it is: "The buddhists don't have a god! So that's out for OP, but there are still lots of other possibilities." So dishonest, but then again, it's DCUM's atheists' typical MO. And of course if OP were here, she could chime in and answer for herself. I'm not in the camp who thinks OP is definitely a troll, but some of the rest of you definitely are trolls. |
| hilarious, the atheists and anti-theists speak for op and pretend they know what’s best for the op. A sad charade. |
+1. Surprised "and many choose no religion at all and that's why religion is declining!" atheist hasn't chimed in yet, seems like they insert themselves on every single thread. |
