Anyone travel to/from Europe and NOT get covid? If so - where?

Portugal and Spain twice. No masks other than first trip public land transport. Also Africa, Central America twice and South America. No covid from any of those.

I didn’t travel (or unmask anywhere) until after second vaccine. Did get covid at a DC restaurant in late 2021. Travel is irrelevant and you sound like a moron when you act like it makes a difference.

I flew to Germany and the Netherlands several times this year and I've never had covid.

Italy this year and Portugal last year

For both trips I either had COVID or a vaccine about 2 months before the trip.

Did mask on the plane; apart from that didn’t really take precautions

Germany, Austria, and France during Spring Break. No masks. Not a one of the four of us was sick after with anything.
We did Covid tests upon returning before seeing older relatives.

Went to Italy and Greece last month. Wore mask on the plane over, not on the way back. Wore it on a crowded bus and ferry, but that was it. Neither DH or I got Covid. In fact neither of us have ever tested positive, but we figure we must've had it some time, right?

Paris in 2020 immediately before lockdown. Paris and Loire Valley in 2021. Barcelona and London in 2022. No Covid.

Last summer we went to France and England. COVID was surging in both places. We did not get it. We were pretty strict about wearing KN95 masks on all forms of public transport (planes/trains/metro). And we ate outdoors whenever possible.

Well worth those easy precautions to enjoy our vacation without sickness or stress.

I've been to France and England in the last year and didn't get Covid. I DID get it traveling but that was in the US. I've mostly stopped wearing masks on planes unless the person next to me is coughing. Or on a recent trip when I had a cold.

Have been to Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, and France since 2021. Masked on some flights and not on others, ate outside a lot in the summer, but not the winter. Didn’t get Covid, but did get it at a Farmer’s Market here at home.

Italy last summer. We took four planes, four trains, numerous taxi rides, ate in restaurants every meal for two weeks, went to many crowded museums and took no precautions and didn’t get Covid. Relax.

I have been traveling a lot for work since last year - no Covid.

I would not base going on location and whether someone got it there. It could happen anywhere.

I've been to Europe twice in the last year in summer 2022 and last month - England and France - and wasn't sick at all on those trips. I have had COVID twice, both around the holidays, when I was staying at home and being cautious during the winter. I think lack of being outside didn't help.

I have had friends and family recently get COVID going to Brazil/Argentina and Turkey, but they never had COVID before.

Is OP a time traveler from 2021?

1000+++

JFC, you people still hanging on about Covid need therapy.

Any places in Europe that are still covid cautious and/or where it'd be easier to avoid it than other places? I'm guessing a rainy week in Ireland makes it easier to catch bc you'll mostly be indoors.

I went to Geneva and came back without COVID. I actually have never had it. But I masked on the plane and mostly ate outdoors.
