Harris ready to be President?

Anonymous
Harris got destroyed in the primaries.

She is remarkably inept in the geopolitical arena, which is extraordinarily dangerous given how Xi and Putin want to pound the world into submission
There's a reason that they no longer trot her out in Asia after her disastrous performance. She lives in her micro bubble world of CA style politics. Running the actual world is way over her head.

Says the guy who probably voted for Trump.

Let’s be real here—the best kind of president is the kind of president that can be contained. I’m not interested in a strong man dictator wannabe thanks very much.

So you're in favor of one who can't hold her own on the global stage? She can barely string an intelligent sentence together. She's asked questions about real world events, and her responses are a jumble of hyperbole...zero substance. And no, I didn't vote for Trump. It's possible to actually see through Kamala and not be MAGA at the same time.

The American people know this. Hell, even Democrats know this. That is why she was unable to get any support during her run for president. Even support in her home state was pretty much nonexistent.

I would say that she is an example of the Peter Principle, but that would mean she would have needed to be competent in previous positions and I'm not even sure that is true.

Willie Brown must have thought she was competent in a position.

You were only sexist there but not racist...try harder.

I think you mean ageist. It was the age discrepancy that made it so icky.

Other than Hillary, she’s the worst candidate ever out forward. Even her own state hated her which is why she got 1% of the vote.

Hearing her even speak makes me want to take a fork to my ear drums.

Neither her nor Biden can form a complete sentence let along a full thought or idea.

There’s. Resins she’s kept out if the media spotlight…she’s as likable as wasp sting and many people would rather swim through a pool of tetanus infested needles than head her speak.

You just described Trump. Look at the world he left in 2021. No thanks to more of that.

Honestly, why is harris so “slow” and non-curious when her parents were hyper intelligent?

Right-wing outlets love to show video clips of Kamala speaking word salad. Now I know these outlets are highly selective and biased in what they show. (Tucker showed video of protestors leisurely strolling the Capitol on 1/6, as if this were proof that there were no violent protestors.)

But I've never seen Kamala give a speech that was inspiring or even coherent. Can anyone point to a video which shows Kamala at her best?

Biden has been drawn to more political lightening rods picks, fewer nerds. I think KH would revert back to the nerds and boring competent governance.

She can't even hold on to a chief of staff or a spokesperson. Her staff turnover is absurd. She inspires no loyalty. She has no policy chops at all. No one in the Biden administration trusts her with anything substantial. She's a terrible public speaker. She does not inspire trust. Being the DA in San Francisco is not a plus in this political environment. She will not attract competent people to work in her Administration should it come to that. She cannot handle constructive criticism without taking it personally. And much as I despise Trump, at least he kept us out of stupid wars. Harris, being deeply insecure, is the sort of politician who will start wars to look "tough" and hope for a rally around the flag effect to lift her own political prospects. She would be a terrible president.

Harris is way worse than Palin.

No responsible citizen can vote for a Biden/ Harris ticket in 2024, sorry.

No worries about AI, folks. Kamala has been put in charge of AI. What can possibly go wrong?

Many of the world's best minds have warned about the dangers of AI, specifically that it could destroy humanity if an assessment of risk is not done now.

Tech giants like Elon Musk fear AI will soon surpass human intelligence and have independent thinking. This means it would no longer need or listen to humans, allowing it to steal nuclear codes, create pandemics and spark world wars.

Vice President Kamala Harris - who has the lowest approval rating of any VP - will lead the containment effort as 'AI czar' with a budget of just $140 million. For comparison, Space Force has a budget of $30 billion.

This one's pretty good:

How many words are there in English for “no”?

Be careful twisting your brain into a shape that thinks President Harris would be okay

You might do permanent damage

I think when she was chosen for VP, she would use the opportunity to distinguish herself and build up her name and image, making her the de facto party leader. But she's done . . . nothing, at least as far as I'm aware. We never see her, never hear from her. Honestly, I forget about her most of the time. If anything, I think her time as VP has hurt her political prospects, rather than helped.

The Dems need to consolidate around a new standard-bearer (ideally one under age 60), but there's no obvious choice. And it's going to hurt us.

There's a valid reason for that. It's become painfully clear that whenever we *do* hear from her, she sounds like a cackling buffoon who talks in nonsensical circles. The administration now keeps her under wraps as much as possible.
