Breakfast works when it is a day off for students but not the staff. |
Our school is doing breakfast next week, and room parents are coming in for an hour while the teachers eat. |
Half the teachers are on diets and don’t want this crap. |
No, we do. |
If I want a cookie I bring my own. I don't usually. Stuff cooked in people's homes is just going to be full of fecal matter. Do teachers want this stuff? But also - parents were asked to (for just 1 of the five days) provide various meats for 200 people (for max 120 staff), plus a crazy amount of sides. And this is just one day. This is a lot of food, it is expensive, and it takes many hours to prepare, fool around with delivering, etc. I'd much rather they just do a nice catered lunch and then have it be done with. Or all the nice grab and go stuff that PP details. |
Teachers would not want this at all. Way too many carbs. |
Fecal matter?? What on earth is going on in your kitchen? |
The teachers who don't want carbs can have salad. Who are you to speak on behalf of all teachers? |
Most adults do not want an ice cream or a dessert bar. Those are for kids. |
No. You don’t want it, Fatty Boom Boom!! |
Most normal working adults don’t want to gorge on an ice cream or dessert bar during their work day. |
Salad may not be offered if there is a dessert or ice cream bar. |
I am a teacher and an adult. While I don't eat sweets on a daily basis, I can appreciate them once in a while. By the way, these adults seemed to indulge once in a while too 🙂: https://www.bakemag.com/articles/574-hail-to-the-sweets-the-favorite-desserts-of-u-s-presidents |
