This time last year I booked a June trip to St John with my teen. It was wonderful.

Are there parts of FL that are not sweltering or super humid during the summer? I've never been to the Gulf Coast so maybe there?

I think our favorite so far was a trip to RMNP/Vail/Buena Vista, CO. We planned it around a wedding and it was a sleeper hit!

Hawaii and Maine are lovely. California- northern or southern. The national parks.

We do Disney with our young kids in the summer. It’s less crowded once most of the country is back in school, and we do early mornings in the park before it’s very hot. Lunch, pool and rest in the afternoon. Some evenings back in the park.

Do here- I also enjoy Vermont in the summer. So many different areas, northern like Stowe/smugglers notch and Burlington. Southern like Manchester, killington, Stratton, okemo area.

Have also heard good things about Tyler place if you have kids.

Not domestic, but easy to get to: One of the best trips we took with our teens was to Montreal and Quebec.

30a is the beach road through the panhandle - Destin and all the many beach towns around it.
