Too many blueberries 🫐🫐🫐

They're pretty hardy and last quite awhile. Don't feel like you have eat 5 cartons in 1 week. You can spread it out into next week.

Another vote for freezing some of these so you don't feel pressured to use them all immediately. I don't know the correct way to do it, but I wash, dry, and freeze in a single layer on something flat then store in a ziploc. I like to eat them frozen but as noted by others you can use in many things.

Pies take a ton of blueberries.

Jam takes a ton of berries too.

Freeze. You can use frozen blueberries in place of fresh in most recipes.

Host a blueberry ladies coffee party for your neighbors. Coffee, blueberry baked goods and blueberry jam.

Cook a couple containers down into a compote, adding sugar as needed. It’ll last a few weeks in the fridge or forever in the freezer. My whole family loves it on pancakes and waffles, or on a slice of lemon pound cake.

How do you have too many blueberries? They are not even in season yet, what kind of GMO fruit are you buying and eating.

Chile just finished their spring/summer which is where the US imports a lot of produce, particularly blueberries, om our off season and given the American dollar is really strong compared to their faltering peso its not unreasonable that blueberries are a bargain right now.

Clearly you've never been to Costco

Ahhh okay. I only eat fruit locally, shopping at the farms in VA or MD in season. Interestingly enough, it never occurs to me to purchase imported fruit from Costco.

We once went berry picking and ended up with 20 pounds of blueberries (I know, but it was SO FUN!) and it was quickly clear that muffins, pancakes, etc. don't use up enough blueberries to be worth it. You need things that are mostly berries like pies, crumbles, sauces, and jams. Unlike some other berries, blueberries do freeze really well, so definitely freeze some, too.
