I counted and I must have like a million blueberries in my fridge. Okay J/k but in reality itβs have like six boxes of blueberries (there was a saleβ¦) and I cannot possibly consume all of them before the go bad. Or can I? What is a foolproof easy blueberries recipe?
Add them to your breakfast cereals or oatmeal, snack on them, make smoothies. I can eat a box of blueberries in one sitting.
You can freeze them. Blueberry jam, muffins, make pancakes tomorrow and toss a lot on there, pie.
Make muffins, add to smoothies/oatmeal/yogurt... But really, freeze them. Just stick them a plastic bag and you are good to go. Then they will be ready for smoothies, baking...
Just freeze and use in smoothies. My kid loves frozen bb in their lunch.
Freeze and use in muffins or pancakes. Or make blueberry pie. Or blueberry jam. Or blueberry upsidedown cake? Haven't made that before but it sounds delicious.
Pie!!! My favorite is a half cooked one - take half the berries and cook them into a syrup with sugar. Take off stove and cool it slightly, so it is warm but not boiling. Mix in remaining berries, then pour that into a pastry shell. Refrigerate, and the syrup will set slightly. Serve with whipped cream.
Just leave a bowl out on the counter and snack, rinse and repeat
